One day blurs into the next

This morning was tough. I slept poorly due to being in a lot of pain and woke up in pain. Sadly I wasn’t able to attend church today and missed visiting a new house of worship. It’s now the early afternoon and I’ve kept my legs elevated to manage the pain and have not taken painkillers yet because of my concern of what they do to my stomach. Today sucks.

I am not quitting however, these days blur one into the other. Some days I have to look and figure out what day of the week it is. But this only gives me incentive to continue what I started, to get healthy, to stick to it, and come out new on the other side.

Do you have blah days? How do you get through them? I’d love to know… post a comment or send me a message.

I’m glad you’re doing a blog. I wondered how you were and what was happening for you. Rest in God’s presence and look for any small thing to be thankful for as it says in Neh..Don’t despise the day of small things. Step by step you WILL reach your destination. This always helped me on long journey’s in God.

Hi Daniel, Yeah I have blah days too. Just as long as our blah day doesn’t turn into blah weeks. I know that when I begin to read The Word of God , the books like Phillipians, James, Proverbs and Psalms I remember the promises of God and how in my weakness His strength is made perfect. I realize that His love and concern for us is so great that we really can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

And sometimes…. keepin it real. When I start feeling “sorry” for myself… I have to agree and say…. GET YOUR SORRY ASS OFF THE COUCH CUZ YOU SHOULD BE SORRY YOU SITTIN HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! LOL

What ever the situation we can always decide to make a better choice. Like even though your legs are swollen and hurt your arms could be lifting 2lb weights in all different directions. And as a matter of fact when your heart starts pumpin your circulation gets stronger and dopamine (natrual pain reliever) is produced and can help. So don’t let anything stop you from doing something everyday to get closer to your goal of great health. Love you brother.
